Playing drums formally for 18 years, Chris has deep experience.  All state selection, superior rating for solo competitions, & the Marine semper Fidelis award highlights the many awards & honors he's recieved.  Playing in several bands during and after college has viven Chris valuable experience.  Chris has experience playing at venues such as the Ranch Bowl, Peony Park, Aksarben, & Knickerbockers to name a few.  Chris has opened for Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Samples & 311.  Chris has brought a foundation to the music and the group that makes this group rock solid.

Chris also enjoys doin artwork.  While going to Wayne State College to study art, chris joined his first working band.  He realized music (and it's immediacy) was a stronger attraction than visual arts, so he quit school and pursued his love of music.  After struggling in different bands he auditioned for a spot as drummer in Sothya.  "The Most talented band I've ever been in" said Chris.

Joining Sothya in 2002, Chris added a style and sound to Sothya that helps give the band the unique and interesting sound that it has developed.  After havng to take a 1 year hiatis from the band Chris rejoined Sothya in March of of 2005 to put the finishing touches on a solid band, READY TO ROCK!!
